The Department of Psychiatry is conducting a national search for several new faculty positions and a new Program Director. Faculty Positions:

Residency Program Director:
  • New Program Director needed to assume one of the newest, most innovative psychiatric training programs in the U.S.
  • 4-year training program with 4 residents per year—potential to develop several fellowship programs
  • Highly organized training program with future expansion potential 
  • Lead an interdisciplinary general psychiatry adult teaching unit composed of residents, medical students, nursing, social workers, and support staff
  • Program has integrated a strong DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) training component into the curriculum
  • Other duties will be tailored to the interest of the applicant and include opportunities in: adult and adolescent outpatient, partial hospitalization, ECT, TMS, community outreach, college student mental health, consultation liason, and forensic psychiatry
  • This teaching program was the first to develop the Innovative “Cap” Inpatient Training Program
