Description

Frontier Nursing University is seeking faculty to join our historic and innovative nursing school. Faculty members at Frontier work from their home offices with 4-6 trips to Hyden, Kentucky each year to teach at on-campus intensives. Faculty also attend the annual graduation ceremony and on campus faculty meeting in October. One of Frontier's major goals is to increase the diversity of the health care workforce. Therefore we are very interested in minority candidates.

Faculty work together closely through Google Apps for Education, virtual meetings and conference calls. Teaching is done using the CANVAS Learning Management system enhanced with conference calls, on-line chats, web conferencing, etc. Competitive salary, vacation and benefits package.   National certification as a nurse-midwife, family nurse practitioner or a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with a doctoral degree in nursing or related field is required.
