Towson University (TU) seeks nominations and applications for the inaugural position of Vice President for Inclusion and Institutional Equity to lead university-wide efforts to advance inclusion and institutional equity.
The vice president will report to the newly appointed dynamic President, Kim E. Schatzel and serve on the President’s cabinet. The vice president will have the opportunity to shape and build upon efforts already underway at TU, strengthening and developing in partnership with senior management, the vision and structure of the new office. Weaved through the Towson 2020 strategic plan, a pillar of the plan is A Model for Campus Diversity. The vice president will be instrumental in the development and execution of this pillar. Candidates will be steeped in current best practices in inclusion and equity, but will be forward thinking to create the next practices, understanding this work is ever-changing.
