Job Description
The Department of Pediatrics at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, is seeking an experienced academic general pediatrician to join the faculty of the Division of General Pediatrics. The academic general pediatrician reports to the Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics through the Division Chief of General Pediatrics and is responsible for providing medical services to infants, children, and adolescents in the outpatient clinics and coordinating care for children with complex and chronic conditions. The academic general pediatrician will provide excellent medical education for residents, medical students, nursing students, and other learners. The ECU Brody School of Medicine is affiliated with Vidant Medical Center. Vidant Medical Center is the flagship hospital for Vidant Health and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Position is available as fixed-term or tenure-track at the title/rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. 
Minimum Qualifications
Must have excellent communication skills. Must have a terminal (MD or DO) degree from an appropriately accredited institution. Must be board certified, or eligible to sit for the certifying examination in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. Must have a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in North Carolina.
