Responsibilities
Full-time (80 hrs biweekly) position available to Clinical Documentation Improvement Supervisor who will provide daily oversight of the Clinical Documentation Improvement staff. This position will work closely with staff to establish expectations, create assignments and monitor outcomes as well as provide education to the CDI team, medical staff, NP's, PA's & nursing staff with respect to inpatient clinical documentation.
Qualifications
PA RN license, BSN degree & minimum of 5 years experience in adult inpatient med/surg or critical care required. Minimum of 2 years Clinical Documentation experience required. CCDS and/or CDIP certification required within one year of hire. Prior experience of a CDI Lead Role preferred. Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills, computer skills in word processing and develop relationships necessary to educate physicians & staff. Must have critical thinking skills necessary to clinically assess medical records.
